attorney bio
Gay Carroll's practice grew out of a desire to give her clients the best possible legal service at a competitive price.

As a sole practitioner, Gay is able to compete against even the largest and most established firms by employing the latest law office technology. At the same time, she recognizes the human element of lawyering is far more important. With that in mind, she makes sure her clients are never "left out of the loop" or made to feel like their matter has been taken over by someone who cares more about the case than the client.

Of extreme importance in her practice is to maintain a professional, yet highly personable practice that ensures each client a hands-on, one-on-one attorney resposive the client's legal needs. So often, clients get lost in the "big firm" shuffle. If you desire excellent legal advice, personable hands-on service, and open communication, contact her office.

Gay's practice emphasizes employment law. In this respect, she works with both employees and employers, assisting them with employment matters ranging from wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, workplace torts, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related claims in both state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. Gay also specializes in counseling employers in all aspects of employer-employee relations and can help businesses set up policies and guidelines to protect themselves from unwanted litigation.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Gay served as the Public Affairs Director for the California Arts Council, a position to which she was appointed by Governor Pete Wilson. Gay also served as Editor for HealthSpan Communications, a publishing company in Sacramento, California. In addition, Gay has extensive experience as a legal assistant in both litigation and transactional law. It is this extensive and varied background that Gay brings to the practice of law.
